Hakone day trip (from Tokyo, Fri Dec 11)

Goal: Do the classic Hakone loop (mountain train → cable car → ropeway over a volcano → boat across the lake), then soak in a hot spring before heading back to Tokyo. Go on a weekday if you can — weekends are crowded. December has the clearest Mt. Fuji views of the year, mostly in the morning, so don’t sleep in.
